The objectives of the CHRA:
  • To evaluate the potential risks to health of the chemicals used in the workplace.

  • To review the methods and procedures in the use of

    chemicals.

  • To determine the degree of exposures to the chemicals hazardous to health.

  • To evaluate the control measure in use and management system for safe use of chemicals.

  • To evaluate the necessity for employee monitoring

    programme and etc.

What is CHRA?

The CHRA is conducted for compliance with Regulation 9 of the Occupational Safety and Health (Use and Standards of Exposure of Chemicals Hazardous to Health) Regulations 2000 (USECHH 2000).Dedicated assistance to ensure your success and satisfaction.

Chemicals Exposure Monitoring
  • Organic solvent: Thinner/Toluene/IPA/Xylene/Hexane etc.

  • Metals: Hg, As, Pb, Sb, Cd, Zn, Cu, Sn and etc

  • Gases: SO2/NO2/CO/CO2 etc.

  • Acid gases: HCl/Cl2/H2SO4/etc.

  • Phenol, Ammonia, Formaldehyde, Isopropylamine

  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC)

  • Dust / Mineral Dust

LOCAL EXHAUST VENTILATION (LEV) TESTING

Purposes for LEV Testing:
  • To determine the efficiency of Hood

  • To determine the transport velocity in duct

  • To determine the efficiency of air purifier/filter etc.

  • To determine the system balancing

  • To determine overall efficiency and suitability of

    the LEV system.

LEV systems:
  • Fume Cupboard / Fume Hood

  • Dust Collector / Bag Filter / Cyclone

  • Scrubber System

  • Spray Booth

  • Boiler / Furnace / Oven

  • VES – Ventilation Exhaust System

Type of Monitoring:
  • Baseline Monitoring

  • Annual Monitoring
